Welcome Fleurieu Cooking Club

Fleurieu Cooking Club by Fleurieu Food and Wine

This is a special place for our guest to gather after a cooking class, ask questions and see the photo’s from their class. If you want to book a class then head to our main site Fleurieu Food and Wine

Our Fleurieu Food and Wine Community

You have just cooked, laughed, learned something new, and hopefully left with that warm, buzzy feeling that comes from making food together. This page is for keeping that feeling going.

Because for us, a class is never just a class. It is the start of a little community of people who love good food, generous hosts, and experiences worth travelling for.

What this community is

This is your place to stay connected after your cooking class, no matter which venue you joined us at. Think of it like the “after party”, minus the noise and plus recipes and videos.

Here you will find:

  • Recipes and tips from the class, plus extra variations you can try at home
  • Seasonal inspiration and what we are cooking right now in the Fleurieu
  • Great Local places to travel to and shop at
  • First access to new class dates, special events, and limited-release experiences
  • Behind-the-scenes stories from Jackie and John
  • Guest highlights, photos, and celebrations (only shared with permission)

The vibe

Warm, supportive, and practical.

We want you to feel confident recreating what you made, even if you are not a confident cook. We also want this to be a place where everyone feels welcome. Food is personal, and we take that seriously.

If you have dietary needs or serious allergies, you are in the right place. We will keep sharing the same approach we use in our classes: clear information, thoughtful planning, and a focus on making the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Cook, create, connect

If you are the kind of person who leaves a class buzzing with ideas, this section is for you.

Expect:

  • “You can totally do this at home” step-by-step refreshers
  • Ingredient swaps that actually work
  • Tips for hosting friends without stress
  • Simple ways to lift a dish from good to wow

You might see things like:

  • How to prep ahead so you are not stuck in the kitchen
  • The tools we genuinely rate (and what you can skip)
  • A seasonal “what’s in the pantry” checklist

Explore the Fleurieu like a local

A lot of guests tell us the same thing: the class was the highlight, but the region made it unforgettable.

So we will share:

  • Local producers we love (the people behind the ingredients)
  • Easy add-ons to turn your class into a full day out
  • Foodie stops, scenic drives, and low-fuss itineraries

If you travelled to join us, we want you to leave with more than a recipe. We want you to leave with a connection to place.

Share your win

If you remake something from class, we want to see it.

Tag us on socials, or send a photo through if you would rather keep it simple. We love celebrating the little wins, whether it is your first time nailing a technique or you hosted friends and everyone asked for the recipe.

If you are happy for us to feature your photo or feedback, we will always ask first.

Stay in the loop

If you want updates, choose the style that suits you:

  • Email updates: new classes, seasonal recipes, special events
  • Community messages: quick reminders and last-minute seats (if you opt in)

No spam. Just genuinely useful stuff you would want to read.

A little thank you

Thanks for being here. We are proud of what we are building, and even prouder of the people who walk in as guests and leave feeling like friends.

See you at the next table.
