Sangria, the Spanish Way
Live Wednesday nights$59 per householdSelf-paced coming soon
A proper jug of sangria is more than wine and chopped fruit. Learn the balance of wine, brandy, citrus and sweetness, how long to steep it, and the variations we pour at our own Spanish long lunches.

What we will make
The classic red
The traditional build: Spanish red, brandy, orange and lemon, and how sweet is too sweet.
Steeping and timing
Why sangria made an hour ahead beats sangria made a day ahead, and what the fruit is actually doing in the jug.
White and sparkling takes
Lighter versions for hot Fleurieu afternoons.
Matching it to food
What to serve alongside, including the paella it was made to sit next to.
